Express reports:
"Among those options are an entirely new immigration plan, or the possibility of rewriting the existing order.
Trump suggested “very little” who be changed in a new executive order, which could be signed as early as Monday or Tuesday.
He added: “We need speed for reasons of security. So it could very well be that we do that.”
In a separate statement, a White House official said: “We are actively considering changes or other executive orders that will keep our country safe from terrorism.”
White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus added a Supreme Court appeal is still possible, shortly after news emerged the President was considering a new executive order.
The news comes just hours after the President revealed he was in “no doubt” he would win a Supreme Court appeal against the decision uphold the suspension of his immigration executive order.
During a joint press conference with Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe, Trump said: “I’ll be doing something very rapidly. You’ll see it sometime next week."
