A Washington Post/ABC News poll reveals that Hillary Clinton’s unavailability rating is at its highest point ever.
Clinton is more despised by Americans than at any point during her 25+ year career in politics, the survey found.
Fifty-six percent of respondents said that they view the Democratic presidential nominee unfavorably, with only 41 percent saying they at least somewhat view Clinton in a good light.
The poll also notes that among registered voters Hillary is even more unpopular, with 59 percent viewing her unfavorably.
The Washington Post notes that “if it weren’t for Trump, in fact, Clinton would be the most unpopular major-party presidential nominee in modern American history.”Trump, ever a polarizing figure, has similar figures with a 60 percent unfavorable rating.
The poll also reveals that Clinton’s image is in the midst of a downward spiral.
Just one month ago, following the Democratic convention, the figures showed an almost even split with 50 percent giving an unfavorable rating for Hillary.
The continuing questions over Hillary’s health, the revelations over her abuse of her position in the State Department to benefit the Clinton Foundation, and the never ending saga of her private email server have had a massive negative impact on her popularity among voters.
The poll finds that in just one month Clinton’s favorable rating among women dropped a full NINE points from 54 percent to just 45 percent.
Among Hispanics, favorability tumbled from 71 percent to 55 percent, and among self identifying liberals, the rating dropped from 76 percent to 63 percent.
Hillary is in free fall.
