The state run Communist Chinese media has attacked GOP front runner Donald Trump, calling him ‘racist’ and directly comparing him to Adolf Hitler.
In an editorial in the Global Times newspaper, the billionaire candidate is described as “big-mouthed” and “abusively forthright.”
The piece declares that Trump at first was acting as “a clown to attract more voters for GOP,” but warns that he has now “opened a Pandora’s box in U.S. society.”
The piece argues that allowing citizens to democratically choose their own leaders is dangerous, pointing to Trump.
“The rise of a racist in the US political area worries the whole world,” the editorial states, adding “He has even been called another Benito Mussolini or Adolf Hitler by some western media.”
“Mussolini and Hitler came to power through elections, a heavy lesson for Western democracy.” the communist diatribe continues.

Zhou Fengsuo, a US-based democracy activist told The London Guardian that communist leaders in China “are relishing this moment,”
“They are very happy. They are laughing over this, Fengsuo added, saying that “To them [Trump] is a good character to show the deficiencies of the democratic system, that such a person could become president. It is just unbelievable. Beijing is definitely gloating over this.”
The piece concludes by suggesting that the US should take heed that it is becoming a global destructive force while simultaneously demonizing China for its “so-called nationalism and tyranny.”
“Even if Trump is simply a false alarm, the impact has already left a dent,” the editorial declares. “The US faces the prospect of an institutional failure, which might be triggered by a growing mass of real-life problems.”
