Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton claimed it was “unrealistic” for the U.S. to close its borders after a terrorist attack, but the Clinton State Dept. once ordered the TSA to not screen the al-Qaeda linked Muslim Brotherhood.

“It’s unrealistic to say that we’re going to completely shut down our borders to everyone,” she said after the Brussels Airport attack orchestrated by ISIS, which killed at least 34.
She made her statement in response to Donald Trump stating that, as president, he’d “close up our borders to people until we figure out what is going on” amid a terrorist attack.
But to get an idea of how President Hillary Clinton would handle the situation, just look back to 2012 when the State Dept. – then headed by Clinton – ordered the TSA not to subject the Muslim Brotherhood to a pat down or most types of screening.
The delegates were spared from TSA screening despite their close ties to al-Qaeda and despite one of its members being linked to a child pornography investigation.

“A one page document (PDF), obtained by the Investigative Project on Terrorism, shows that members of a Muslim Brotherhood delegation traveling through Minneapolis Airport, New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport and Dulles Airport were handed expedited entry known as ‘port courtesy,’ which is normally reserved for high ranking government officials and dignitaries… At the time, the Muslim Brotherhood’s candidate Mohamed Morsi, later deposed, had not been elected president,” Paul Joseph Watson reported in 2014. “The document contains four separate entries which include a directive that Muslim Brotherhood members, ‘not be pulled into secondary upon arrival at a point of entry.’”
And prior to their trip to the States, the Muslim Brotherhood was labeled a terrorist organization by the Egyptian government for bombing a police station.
With this much support given to al-Qaeda linked organizations, it’s unrealistic to expect real border security from a Hillary presidency.
